Start of a play

I am gonna write a play. This is a rough draft so please be nice. Guido is Jesus. Johnny is any sinner. everyone else has yet to be defined.

Scene: Several men in a room. The room is early ‘30’s construction in style, some craks in the plaster and only one small window out to the street 8 stories below. Some men are in a group wearing Italian suits. Two men are wearing sweat jump suits. The last man is wearing jeans and a tee shirt.

Guido is lead man for the larger group. He is talking to Johnny who is in the jeans.

Guido(Italian mob accent): So is that what you want? These guys don’t care ‘bout yous. Theys only wants to use you. They might give you all lots o nice stuff and all but who is gonna save you from Pops? Only I’s can save you Johnny. Only me.

Johnny: How you gonna save me from anything. I saw how your Pops treats you. Hung you out to dry. And I saw, you didn’t even deserve the rap you got. Clean you were, but you didn’t say a word, just did the time. Now you think I can trust you to save me?!?

Guido: How many times do we got to go over this? I did that for you. I knew all ‘bout you before, but I brought you in anyway. I knew how it would go. You don’t even know what you’ve done. I saw you.

Johnny: Done? All I did was “borrow”(put quotes in the air with fingers” a couple bucks. Now I am gonna die for it and you think I can just trust you to save me. That’s rich.

Guido: I said you didn’t get it. I told you not to steal from us, not even a penny but you did not listen(getting louder.) I told you! … (now calmer) I know it only looked like a couple of dollar bills, but they were much more. First run in the series. If you had looked at the serial numbers you would have noticed. We still have the next fifty, but without on and two they are friggin worthless. They cost millions to get and were worth tens of millions. (now beginning to yell again) and you wanted a candy(voice crack) bar!?!

(long pause, uncomfortable silence)

Guido(shaking but much calmer): Well I guess you will get what you deserve, but I already paid the price for you if you will choose me over THEM.

I am getting fed up with...

Stupid people. there I said it. I know I am judgemental but right now I don't care. I seem to be surrounded by them sometimes, even when the people around me don't change. I know I am sometimes one of the stupid people surrounding some one else, but this is my rant not theirs.

People who don't look at the situation objectively are being stupid. Try once in a while, to play the "devil's advocate." It really can open your eyes to how you could be wrong. If I am arguing with you bring this point up, please.

People who are selfish are being stupid. A lot like subjectivity, but more self focused. Too many people in America are being selfish. The American dream is made possible by philanthropists, and you can be one (on a small scale) and in the end you will do better for them and you.

I am also fed up with people who know they are wrong but still don't give up. That is very stupid. At that point all you are doing is wasting everyone's time who is involved.

Well that is a little better, but this one comes and goes so, you might hear about it later, most likely in person, though.

For my fans

I am sorry to all of you who have missed me. I hav ebeen holding down the fort while my wife was out of the country. I will be back en-force in a few days but wanted to touch base with all those who adore me (like red) and cannot live their boring little lives without my guidence(red)

Just kidding. I am only writing this because someone(red) whom I will not name(red) said I wrote my last post decades ago. Decades Ago?!? who you think I am, George Burns? I am not eve three decades old yet, little miss impatient.

Got it back

How cool is that?!? I got my check back. It had fallen out of my pocket at the bank. I don't feel as dumb as I did for some reason. A nice lady from 300 main in my home town found it and called my house. Good thing we are listed. I went and got it and deposited it in the bank right away. At least if it gets lost there, it won't be my fault.

So praise the Lord. He has answered my prayer, even better than I had asked for.

That reminds me, I should have been praising him before also. Darn these human tendentcies(spelled wrong I think).

So, today was payday. I got a smaller check than usual, not as much overtime. I get off work and call my wife to come pick me up. I looked at my check just before calling her so I could tell her how much it was. She did not ask. I got my Palm out and fiddled while I walked towards the enterance to the mill, on my way out. She got there as I reached the security shack. We went to the churc to play basketball with our pastor and some neighborhood kids. I went to get another friend to play b-ball and got came back. The game was fun. I learned a lot and so did the girls. We went to the bank afterward and I did not have my check. I cannot remember what I did with it after I looked at it. $1200 that I needed today is gone. We retraced my steps and did not find it anywhere. We searched everywhere I went in case it fell out of my pocket. No check anywhere. I am hoping my work can stop-payment and reissue that check to me. If not...

I have not been responsible enough with my miney to cover that kind of loss. Not really any solutions that I am looking for, just needed to vent a little. I feel stupid for letting this happen. I might have been able to recover if I had gone straight to the bank, noticing the problem much sooner.

If a tweaker found it, I might have a bigger problem than I had thought at first. My check was still on the stubb. I cannot remember how much info like SSN is on that document. CRAP!!~!!

Posting is time consuming

It really takes only a little time to post, but for a geek i don't get on the computer much for some reason. Don't know why and I don't want to talk about the same thing very often, so I don't have much to say if I am still thinking on the same subjects. Although i was enlightened on to the idea that there was a kind of law before Moses, which makes sense when I think about Melchezidek. Pre-Moses, the law would have just been less detailed or something like that.Well that is all I have to say for now.


Feel free to comment, only people I know are doin' it so far and they aren't too judgemental.

Politics, my friend

The president has been spying on us. Well, not me, i hope. He has been evesdropping on conversations that are associated with terrorists. How he knows? He doesn't, he suspects. All this is without a warrant(spell it right for yourself if it isn't). The congress appearently authorized this by voting for the war. War in Iraq. War on terrorism has yet to be declared officially. As of yet it is only a political catch-phrase. You cannot wage a catch-phrase, but you can use it to push an agenda.

I used to support our president. not now. Even if this spying thing turns out to be leagal, it is so wrong. Our entire country is based on not supposing someone is guilty. To spy on a citizen, he/she HAS to be suspected. The president has said that national security trumps personal liberties, in not so many words. The hundred dollar man, Ben Franklin, said that those who would give up freedom for security, deserve neither.

I think they will not get it either. They will give up the freedom to trade it for security. But the biggest enemy a people can have are thos who wish to dominate. They are just as likely to live in a country as out. Without personal freedom, those in country have no restraints from using the government to dominate the people. We still have most of our freedom, and this is a struggle here, in other countries, it has proved to be an impossible struggle. Domination takes a stronger will than subjection, so dominators are bound to win eventually. This means that without a system to stop them, that is, without guarenteed personal freedom, the masses will be dominated more often than not.


Our freedom is diminishing. It is only a matter of time. Or society is failing. like Rome did, and Greece and Russia and Mongolia and Babylon...etc I'm not elequent today, but you get what i'm saying even if you disagree i hope.
